We want paying for something to be the easiest part of shopping with us. This page explains which ways you can pay, how your card details are protected, and what we do to keep orders safe from fraud.
The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout and depend on the currency your order is priced in. You can change your mind and pick a different one before you pay.
Card details are entered on our payment provider's own secure page, not on ours. Our provider is certified to the PCI DSS security standard and handles the card number, expiry date and security code directly.
We never see and never store your full card number or security code. What we keep is only what we need to process and refund the order — the card brand, the last four digits, and the transaction reference.
Because the payment page belongs to the provider, look for its address in your browser to confirm you are still on the secure page when you enter your card.
We check every order before it is accepted. Product prices, discounts and delivery charges are recalculated on our servers from the product database — the amounts sent by your browser are never trusted, so a modified page cannot change what you are charged.
The checkout is protected by a captcha challenge, which stops automated bots from placing orders in bulk. Stock is reserved the moment a payment starts, so two customers cannot buy the same last item.
If a transaction looks suspicious we may contact you before dispatching. We will always ask for your order number and never ask for your card details.
Prices are shown in the currency you are browsing in. The total you see at the review step is the total we charge — the delivery price is re-quoted at that moment, so it always matches your basket.
If a promo code is applied, the discount is spread across the items in the order and shown as a line in the order summary before you pay.
If a payment is declined or does not complete, no order is created and the stock reserved for it is released straight away. Your cart is left untouched, so you can try a different method or a different card without starting again.
If you were redirected to a payment page and abandoned it, come back to the checkout — your basket and any promo code are still saved.
If a mobile money or bank transfer payment is still pending after 30 minutes, the order is released and you are welcome to try again.
When your payment succeeds, the order is created and you receive a confirmation email with your order number and the delivery address. You can also see the order, its status and its tracking reference at any time from your account.
Orders paid by bank transfer are confirmed by email once the payment is received, which can take up to 2 working days depending on your bank.
If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us first. We will look at the order and, where the charge was ours, refund it in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Where a chargeback is raised against an order that was delivered as described, we will provide your order and delivery records to your bank, and we reserve the right to note the dispute on your account.
If anything on this page is unclear, or you would like to raise a concern about an order, get in touch with our support team — we reply to every message.
